Abstract
Clinico-statistical observation of the endoscopy during the past 7 years (from 1963 to 1970) at the department of bronchoesophagology in Osaka Redcross Hospital were made and reported the foreignbody cases during that period. The total number of the endoscopy was 1006 cases (_??_ 629 _??_ 377) and among that cases about 450 cases were bronchoscopy and esophagoscopy and about 100 cases weve direkt laryngoscopy.About 40% of total number were over 51 years of age and the sex ratio in that age was with males prependerating (7: 3).About 60% of foreign body cases were under 5 years of age and in trachea pins and beans were most frequently seen and in esophagus coins were most frequently seen.
