Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical treatment and significance of elderly patients with extremities fractures and ankylosis,to provide evidence for preventing the disease.Methods One hundred and forty-seven elderly patients with extremities fractures and ankylosis were randomly divided into two groups.Seventy-three patients in the control group were treated by joint loose solution,seventyfour patients in the treatment group were treated by arthroscopic surgery loose solution.Began functional exercise under the direction of the medical staff,aided by psychological treatment.Results Compared with the control group,the patients' postoperative function exercise was better in the treatment group,and the joint function recovery time was shorter.Through the comprehensive clinical treatment,the functional training range was not good enough in 4 lower limb fractures patients with internal fixation,the rest patients' flexion and extension function were completely normal with 3-6 weeks treatment,and the joint functions had good improve and recovery.Conclusions Comprehensive treatment can effectively reduce the incidence of ankylosis in elderly patients with extremities fractures,and improve the limb function and patients' quality of life effectively.
