Abstract
Objective To investigate clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of abnormal umbilical cord inlet. Methods 484 cases of pregnant women who underwent prenatal ultrasound examination in our hospital from June 2014 to June 2015 were selected, in whom 32 cases of pregnant women were diagnosed with abnormal umbilical cord inlet, analyzed their clinical data to provide scientific reference for prenatal diagnosis of abnormal umbilical cord inlet. Results In 32 abnormal pregnant women, there were 28 cases of marginal placenta and umbilical cord inlet (battledore placenta), accounting for 87.5% (28/32); 4 cases of velamentous placenta, accounting for 12.5% (4/32). 32 abnormal pregnant women underwent postpartum clinical and pathological examination, 27 cases of marginal abnormal umbilical cord inlet and 3 cases of velamentous placenta and umbilical cord inlet were found. The coincidence rate was 93.75% (30/32) by color Doppler ultrasound. Conclusions Color Doppler ultrasound in the prenatal diagnosis of abnormal umbilical cord inlet is noninvasive, with high safety and diagnosis accuracy. Doctor can provide good suggestion for pregnant women about the appropriate mode of production according to the diagnosis result, which can significantly improve the healthy rate of born babies, worthy of clinical application.
