Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of therapy of HIFU with intra -arterial infusion chemotherapy (Gemcitabine and Fluorouracil) in the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer. Methods The data of fourty - three patients with advanced pancreatic cancer were randomly divided into group A (HIFU + intra-arterial infusion chemotherapy) and group B (intra-arterial infusion chemotherapy only).Results The effective rate in group A was 60.9%and 35.0%in group B. The clinical beneficial rate were 73.9%and 45.0%in group A and B respectively. There was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). Conclusions Therapy of HIFU with intra-arterial infusion chemotherapy is more effective in the treatment of the advanced pancreatic cancer respctively.
