Abstract

Objective To investigate the modified incision (curved cut) in the resection of benign breast lumps in the feasibility and clinical value. Methods To collect the past three years, were randomly divided into study group (112 cases of modified incision)and control group (105 cases of radial incision) cases, 217 cases were analyzed retrospectively compare the two groups in operative time, blood loss and postoperative cosmetic results, etc. difference. And analyzed them. Results The operative time study group (47 ± 15) min; the control group (30 ± 10) min (P 0.05) .217 cases were successfully completed surgery, no postoperative bleeding, hematoma formation and wound infection complications. Conclusion The modified incision excision of benign breast lumps with the incision hidden, does not affect breast shape, meet the aesthetic requirements, especially for young female patients.
