Abstract

Objective To study the clinical effect of allograft acellular dermal matrix(ADM) in the treatment of conjunctival sac narrow. Methods 26 cases(26 eyes) with conjunctival sac narrow after operation of hydroxyapatite (HA) implantation were treated with allograft acellular dermal matrix. Follow-up ranged from 6 to 18 months(averaged 11 months). Results All of the 26 cases got satisfied clinieal effect. ADM emerged the normal colour and outward appearance of eonjunctiva 6 months postperation. No infection, necrosis or exclusion took place and good cosmetic effect were got after artificial eyes used. Conclusion It was suggested that ADM was convenient and safe on the conjunctiva sac rebuild in the eases of conjunctival sac narrow.
