Abstract

Under conditions of maximum seasonal and daily activity of blood-sucking diptera insects of the Ararat region of the Republic of Armenia, the repellent effectiveness of Bars® veterinary drugs was studied. The experiments involved 26 clinically healthy dogs aged 1 to 10 years, of both sexes. As a result of clinical studies of the repellent effectiveness of veterinary drugs Bars ® insectoacaricidal spray and Bars ® insecticidal drops applied to dogs individually, once, during the prevention of bites of diptera flying insects, according to the presented doses, rules and application techniques, the drugs showed a high effectiveness of the repellent effect in the conditions of farms of the Ararat marz for 5 days. During the physical examination, no side effects were detected from the use of Bars® insecticide spray and Bars® insecticide drops.
