Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical significance of combined detection four coagulation tests, D-dimer and CRP for the early diagnosis of venous thromboembolism (VTE) during perioperative period. Methods A total of 50 patients with diagnosed as lung cancer by pathology and treated with standard radical resection of cancer. Combine detection and dynamic observation four coagulation tests, D-dimer and hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) during perioperative period. To analyze the incidence of venous thromboembolism and the characteristics of venous thrombosis in patients undergoing radical surgery for cancer, and to analyze the correlation between the results and venous thromboembolism in patients undergoing radical surgery for cancer. Results 50 patients with cancer, the incidence of VTE was 10% (5/50), of which deep venous thrombosis (DVT) was 10% (5/50) and pulmonary embolism (PE) was 2% (1/50). And one patient occurred DVT and PE simultaneity. The level of fibrinogen (Fib) at 3rd and 5th day after operation (F=6.117, 17.134), the level of D-dimer at 1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th day after operation (F=18.674, 4.107, 9.748, 8.547) and The level of hs-CRP on the 3rd day after operation in VTE group were significantly higher than those in non-VTE group (P 0.05). The specificity of combine detection with four coagulation tests and Hs-CRP was the highest (93.3%), but the sensitivity was 50.0%. The sensitivity of combine detection with our coagulation tests and D-dimer was the highest (80.0%), but the specificity was only 68.9%. Conclusion Combined detection of four coagulation tests, D-dimer and CRP can improve the early diagnosis rate of venous thromboembolism in patients with during perioperative period, provide basis for early prevention and treatment, and have important significance for improving the prognosis of patients. Key words: D-dimer; Our coagulation tests; Hypersensitive C-reactive protein; Combined detection; Lung cancer; Perioperative venous thromboembolism
