Clinical, Radiological and Histopathologic Correlation in Determining Safe Margins Following Resection of Benign Pathologic Lesion: Is Resection With Healthy Margins of 1-1.5 cm Necessary?

Abstract

The aim of the study was to discuss linear resection margins including tumor–bone interface of the encountered benign odontogenic/nonodontogenic lesions and how bony margins can be clinically and radiographically evaluated to act as a guide for treatment recommendations.
