Abstract

Cam-type femoroacetabular (FAI) is generally described as being more common in males, with pincer- type FAI is more common in females. Yet, detailed characterization of the effect of gender on the clinical presentation, radiographic findings, and intraoperative findings is symptomatic FAI is poorly defined. The purpose of the current study was to investigate differences in clinical, radiographic, and intraoperative findings between males and females.
