Abstract

Background and Aim: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a frequently encountered condition in clinical practice, particularly in obese and diabetic patients. Spectrum of liver disorders in non alcoholic patients comprises of fatty liver, steatohepatitis, fibrosis and cirrhosis. The present study is designed to study the clinical and biochemical profile of patients with NAFLD with varying degrees of severity as diagnosed by Ultrasonography and evaluate the relationship between fibrosis as accessed by fibroscan with various parameters.
