The Ablation Expert Committee of the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology, the Expert Group on Tumor Ablation Therapy of the Chinese Medical Doctors Association, the Tumor Ablation Committee of the Chinese College of Interventionalists, and the Society of Tumor Ablation Therapy of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association provided the platform for multidisciplinary experts to formulate the"Clinical Practice Guidelines:Image-Guided Thermal Ablation of Primary and Metastatic Lung Tumors (2021 Edition)". The main contents of the Clinical Practice Guidelines include: (1)epidemiology of primary and metastatic lung tumors; (2) IGTA concepts and common technical features; (3) procedures, indications, contraindications, outcomes evaluation, and related complications of IGTA for primary and metastatic lung tumors.
