Abstract
Background and study aims: Previous studies have shown that self-expandable metal stents/SEMS/are an effective method for palliation of malignant biliary and duodenal obstruction. Combined biliary and duodenal stenting remains a technical challenge, however. The aim of this study was to evaluate the technical feasibility of an endoscopic approach to double stenting of malignant biliary and duodenal strictures.
