Abstract
Rationale: As a result of the high prevalence of disease related malnutrition in hospitals and its repercussions and according to ESPEN guidelines, our hospital has implemented a nutritional risk screening (NRS) protocol with NRS-2002 for the correct identification of at-risk patients at admission. The objective was to study the clinical outcome of the patients according to their nutritional risk at admission.
