Abstract

Objective To observe the similarities and differences of higher order aberrations in both eyes of anisometropia. Methods Using the Nidek OPD-Scan (Nidek,Gamagori, Japan) aberrometer ,the aberrations was performed on 27 anisometropic cases whose refractive difference between both eyes was greater than 2.0DS, and then the difference of higher order eberrations between both eyes was compared and analyzed. Results There was no statistical difference of high order aberration, spherical aberration and coma between the high refraction eye and the low refraction eye (P>0.05). High order aberration, spherical aberration and coma all have no distinguished correlation to diopeter (P>0.05).Conclusions High order aberration, spherical aberration and coma of myopic anisometropia seemed not related to diopter. Key words: Anisometropia; Higher order aberrations
