Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect and safety of tirofiban in patients with unstable angina.Methods The present study registered 284 UA patients and the patients were divided into the tirofiban group(n=160)who received tirofiban and conventional therapy and the control group(n=124)who received conventional therapy.The major adverse cardiac(MACE)include refractdry ische mia,new myocardial infarction and death,cerebralapoplexy,hemorrhage complication were observed.Resuits The MACE at 30 days was significantly lower in the tirofiban group than in the placebo group (15.7%and 18.8%,P＜0.05).There was no difference in the incidence of bleeding or platelet decrease between the two groups.Conclusions Tirofiban may further lower the incidence of MACE in treating UA patients on the basis of conventional treatment in the recent 30 days.The rate of hemorrhage complications do not increase.
