Abstract
Objective To analyse the cause and treatment methods for a wide range Descemet membrane detachment in phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation surgery.Methods Seven eyes of 6 cases complicated with wide range Descement membrane detachment in 825 cases (856 eyes) of phacoemulsification cataract surgery and intraocular lens implantation were involved.The Descement membrane detachment was treated by surgical suture,and (or) anterior chamber injection of C3F8,or conservative treatment.Results The surgical suture combined with anterior chamber injection of C3 F8 were performed in 5 eyes.One eye only accepted anterior chamber injection of C3F8.The conservative treatment was applied in one eye.Conclusion For Descement membrane detachment,which was caused by phacoemulsification and intraocular lens implantation,combined treatment on time is the effective method.
