Abstract

Objective To evaluate the curative effect of the peritoneal dialysis (PD) treatment for acute renal failure (ARF).Methods 104 patients with acute renal failure were randomly divided into two groups.who were admitted from February 2007 to February 2009,observation group and control group,each with 52 cases.52 cases in the control group were dealled with regular routine medical treatment, mainly to strengthen the catering management and active treatment of the original disease, to control or removal the incentives and aggravating factors,including anti-infection, blood transfusion,rehydration,to correct the water-electrolyte and acid-base balance disorders,to maintain the blood pressure roughly within the normal range,erythropoietin and iron supplement were used to correct the anemia.and other auxiliary therapeutic measures were provided.And in the observation group,on the basis of conventional treatment,the peritoneal dialysis were given;and then compare the clinical manifestations and biochemical indicators, the cure rate, mortality rate in these two groups after treatment.Results The cure rate and the mortality of the observation group were much better than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions The clinical effect of the peritoneal dialysis for the ARFis significant.It is a safe,simple and effective method of dialysis, early preventive dialysis is the key to reduce the mortality in ARF.
