Abstract

Objective To observe the possibility of cataract extraction after glaucoma surgery of sight rehabilitating project. Methods 17 cases after glaucoma surgery were completed small-incision cataract extraction(SICE) with intraocular lens implantation surgeries on temperal or nasal limbus and sutured conjunctive incision. Results 16 cases were completed small-incision cataract extraction (SICE) with intraocular lens implantation successfully. 1 case had lens dislocation and was treated by intracapsular cataract extraction. The sights of all cases were improved. Conclusion The SICE is easy to operate. It is a safe and effective method for treatment of cataract after glaucoma surgery.
