Abstract

Objective To observe the time and effect of hemoperfusion in the treatment of acute severe organophosphate poisoning(AOPP).Methods 68 cases with AOPP in our hospital from 2000 to 2010 were divided into hemoperfusion(HP) group(n=38) and control group(n=30).All of them were given combined treatment(gastric lavage, atropine, pralidoxime chloride,anti-infection,respiratory support and so on).HP treatment group at different times by the line divided into 3 groups.Treatment effect observed in each group. Results Hospital treatment and control groups 48 h blood levels of CHE were significantly ( P<0.05).The total amount of atropine was no significant difference between groups ( P>0.05).Length of stay in each group the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Cure rate and mortality of each group are also statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Treatment group and control group of patients the incidence of respiratory failure and mortality difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Incidence of other complications,no statistically significant difference (P>0.05).pairwise comparison test prompt treatment group A CHE faster recovery than the control group, length of stay shorter than the other groups. Conclusions Hip will promptly remove the organic phosphorus in the blood, the patient' s rapid recovery CHE improve the cure rate, shorter hospital stay, mortality. The sooner, the better therapy. Key words: Severe organophosphate poisoning; Hemoperfusion; Curative time
