Abstract
CVST, a form of venous stroke affecting younger population unlike arterial strokes, representing an overall of 0.5 to 1%. There is relatively scarce literature concerning predictors in CVST. The available literature mostly focusses on subjective assessments of these patients. Our main aim is to study the clinical, neuro opthalmological (Visual fields, Visual acuity, Grade of papillodema, and SD- OCT based GCL and RNFL measurements) and radiological predictors (CVST scoring, topography of sinus(es) involved, extent of parenchymal involvement, features of raised ICP) of outcomes in patients and finally aim to formulate non-invasive objective parameters to assess visual outcome in these patients.
