Abstract

As the emergence and rapid spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) continues to cause a global public health crisis, Taiwan has encountered a surge in community transmission in May 2021. By the end of September 2021, more than 16,000 confirmed cases and 800 deaths had been reported in Taiwan. In this pandemic, most infected populations were adults and the elderly, and data on clinical manifestations and outcomes in children are limited. We conducted this retrospective study and reported our preliminary results on the epidemiological, clinical, and prognostic aspects of children with COVID-19.
