Abstract

Three cases of subacute O/sub 3/ toxicity resulting from occupational exposure to electric-arc welding fumes are reported. The 9.2 ppM O/sub 3/ were found in working area after conversion to consumable electrode gas-sheilded arc welding. Symptoms, including headache, dypsnea, acrid taste, and cough were observed.
