Abstract
Objective To discuss the effect of surgical iris reposition through segmental small incision on iridodiastasis. Methods We made iris plasty surgery by repositing the root of iris through segmental small incision on 63 patients (63 eyes) of traumatic iridodiastasis. Results The iris was reposited successfully in all the patients. No complication was observed. The pupil showed a round or oval shape ater operation. The symptom of diplopia disappeared. Conclusion Segmental small incision method is an microtraumatic, safe, simple and effective surgery. Key words: iridodiastasis,traumatic; iris plasty; reposition
