Introduction

The etiology of Abrikossoff granular cell tumor remains uncertain. No clinical data on the growth of the intraocular granular cell tumor could be found in Russian literature available to the authors. В настоящий момент вопрос этиологии зернистоклеточной опухоли (ЗКО) Абрикосова остается спорным. В области глаза известны гранулярно-клеточные опухоли конъюнктивы, слезного мясца, слезного мешка, брови, века и в редких случаях — радужки. Описаны редкие случаи метастазирования первичной ЗКО области шеи в глазницу [1]. Описаны также случаи возникновения ЗКО подкожной локализации.
