Abstract

Lichen planus in children is chronic autoimmune diesease, affecting the skin and mucous membrane. An immune mediated pathogenesis is recognized in lichen planus although the exact immunology is unknown. The prevalence of oral lichen planus in children is rare. In this paper, etiopathogenesis, features, management of oral lichen planus is reviewed.
