Abstract

Initial efforts to develop a battery of self report measures that could be used in assessing violent couple subtypes are presented. The goal was to determine whether such data could be used as a basis for treatment planning and assignment of clients to differing treatment approaches. Preliminary results and several case examples are presented to illustrate the utility of the approach.
