Abstract

Purpose: Contact lens (CL) fitting software incorporated in corneal topographers has been proposed with the aim to simplify the rigid gas permeable (RGP) CL fitting procedure especially in irregular cornea. The aim of this study is to determine the repeatability of the base curve (BC) of RGP CL proposed by new software for fitting in healthy and keratoconus eyes. As a second objective the BC calculated by software was compared with the BC fitted by diagnostic method.
