Objective To investigate the clinical effects of laparoscopic surgery for the preservation of fertility in ovarian borderline tumors. Methods A total of 126 patients with ovarian borderline tumors who were treated in Yuncheng Central Hospital from January 2010 to January 2017 were enrolled. According to the patient’s wishes, they were randomly divided into radical treatment group and research group. The radical treatment group was treated by radical surgery. The patients in research group underwent laparoscopic ovarian borderline tumors to preserve fertility. The patients were followed up for 2 years, and the recurrence was compared. The pregnancy status of the research group was also recorded. Results The recurrence rate was 8.96% in the research group and 5.08% in the radical cure group, respectively, there was no significant difference (P> 0.05). The recurrence time of radical treatment group was better than that of study group (P 0.05). The recurrence rate of bilateral tumors was 16.67% in radical group, and 60.00% in research group. There was significant difference in recurrence rate of bilateral tumor and unilateral tumor in the two groups (P< 0.05). Of the 67 patients in the research group, 33 cases were pregnant, accounting for 49.25%. And there were no abnormal conditions during pregnancy and delivery. Among them, 27 full-term deliveries and 6 premature births showed normal neonatal vital signs. At the same time, there were no serious complications in the parturients.
