Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of tension-free hernia repair in the treatment of inguinal hernia complicated with ascites of renal failure. Methods 60 patients with inguinal hernia complicated with ascites of renal failure From May 2016 to January 2018 in First people's hospital of Lianyungang, Xinhai hospital district were selected. All patients underwent tension-free hernia repair, routine nursing care was performed during perioperative period. The operation and postoperative situation of two groups of patients were observed and recorded. The recurrence and complications of patients compared in two groups. Results Tension-free hernia repair in 60 patients with inguinal hernia complicated with peritoneal effusion were successful. Operation time was (55.21±21.61) minutes, The extraction time of the postoperative drainage tube was (3.20±1.01) days, postoperative hospital stay was (3.15±1.74) days, 4 cases occurred incision pain, 9 cases occurred mild seroma of incision, 4 cases occurred scrotal swelling, all complications have been improved and discharged after symptomatic treatment. All patients were followed up for 12 months, one patient recurred. All the other patients recovered well after operation. Conclusion Tension-free hernia repair in the treatment of inguinal hernia complicated with ascites of renal failure is safe and feasible, and the clinical effect is good.
