Abstract

Objective To investigate clinical effect of metoprolol combined with trimetazidine in the treatment of coronary heart disease with heart failure. Methods Eighty patients with CHF treated in Jieshou People's Hospital from July of 2016 to June of 2017 were divided into control group and experimental group according to the treatment methods. The control group received routine treatment, while the experimental group received metoprolol and trimetazidine on this basis. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of experimental group was 92.5%, higher than that of control group (75.0%), and there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, LVESD, LVEF and LVEDD of experimental group were better than those of control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Metoprolol combined with trimetazidine has a significant effect in the treatment of coronary heart disease with heart failure, can effectively improve the cardiac function of patients, is worthy of clinical promotion.
