Abstract
Objective To study the diagnosis and surgical treatment of thyroid carcinoma.Methods The clinical data of 86 inpatients with thyroid carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed.Resuits Among the 86 patients,the ratio of man to women was 1:2.7.The average age of disease onset was 40 years old.The pathological constitution was:71 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma,6 cases of follicular thyroid carcinoma,3 cases of medullary thyroid carcinoma,2 cases of anaplastic carcinoma,4 cases of others.Gender,age,tumor size,infiltration,clinicopathological stage were the main factors that influencing the prognosis of thyroid carcinoma.Conclusions The main histological type was differentiated thyroid carcinoma.The surgical approach should be based on the nature of the lesion,TNM stage,and clinical situation and take individual programs.Standardized,systematic endocrine therapy and radiation therapy when necessary,can reduce the recurrence rate.
