Clinical curative effect analysis on double cavity latex catheter in treatment of axillary sinus mucosal collapse

Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of double-lumen latex catheter in maxillary sinus mucosa collapse.Methods 40 patients during maxillary sinus surgery process suffered maxillary sinus mucosa collapse were given dual-chamber latex catheter reset.And then we compared its efficacy with that of other 40 patients using vaseline gauze.Results With double-lumen latex catheter repair for the maxillary sinus mucosa collapse,the mucosal repair time,the degree of post-operative pain,the degree of swelling of the face,and the amount of bleeding were obviously better than those using vaseline gauze,showing significant difference (P＜0.05).Conclusion Double-lumen latex catheter efficacy in the treatment of maxillary sinus mucosa collapse has better effect than vaseline gauze,it can shorten the healing time of patients,effectively alleviate the pain and swelling of the face,with less amount of bleeding.
