Clinical characteristics and outcomes of patients hospitalized with mid-range and preserved ejection fraction in Malaysia

Abstract

Heart failure (HF) with mid-range ejection fraction (EF) (HFmrEF) and HF with preserved EF (HFpEF) are being increasingly recognized as serious health concern. The characteristics, management and outcomes of patients with HFmrEF and HFpEF have not been established well and still remains uncertain. ASIAN-HF Registry has shown worst outcomes in patients with HFpEF among Southeast Asian patients.
