Abstract

One of the common causes of urinary retention and pain symptom in urological practice is ureteric stricture. Surgery remains the only effective method of treatment. Currently, the modern minimally invasive operations are the most relevant. Minimally invasive high-tech surgery: percutaneous endoureterotomy followed by the installation of tandem stents demonstrates effectiveness in treatment of recurrent strictures of the upper urinary tract.
