Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical application of spiral CT angiography in the diagnosis of the stenosis of renal artery .Methods 40 cases with clinical suspicion of the secondary hypertension were scanned with spiral CT angiographyv SCTA ) and conducted with multi-planar reconstruction( MPR ), maximum intensity projection ( MIP ) and surface shaded display ( SSD ).Results 25 cases of varied stenosis of renal artery including 20 of unilateral stenosis and 5 of bilateral stenosis.Conclusions SCTA is of high value in the clinical diagnosis of the stenosis of renal artery so that it has basically replaced the traditional angiography.
