Abstract

Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common malignant skin neoplasm. Imaging modalities, such as ultrasound and contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging are valuable in diagnosing and staging BCC. This case report aims to demonstrate contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging features in the pre-operative assessment of BCC infiltrate tissues in the medial periorbital area. MRI results are presented alongside intraoperative assessment and histopathology examination results.
