Abstract

Objective To investigate the approach of hydroxyapatite(HA)implantation after ophthalmo-contents extirpation,in order to avoid implant exposure.Methods Autogeneic sclera is divided to two halves after ophthalmo-contents extirpation, shear optic nerve and remove the halves sclera forward, to coat the head of HA resembling cap.Results follow-up times were 6-18 months,none of the 19 eyes occurred HA exposure.Each fossa orbital was well-stacked,and HA acted well after operation.Conclusion The method is convenient, good therapeutic effect, and it can avoid HA exposure effectively.
