Abstract

Mesothelioma is a deadly disease with limited treatment options. Identification and clinical characterization of biomarkers that reliably classify patients into prognostic groups may facilitate the development of novel therapeutic options for this disease. We therefore studied the expression pattern of mesothelin (MSLN), folate receptor alpha (FRA) and endosialin (TEM-1) in patients with mesothelioma.
