Abstract

Objective: Treatment of poor responders who are undergoing IVF therapy remains a frustrating challenge. Oral contraceptive-microdose flare leuprolide acetate (OCP-mLA) in combination with high dose gonadotropins has been suggested as the protocol of election for such patients. Our objectives were: a) to evaluate ovarian response and pregnancy outcome in poor responders stimulated with OCP-mLA, and b) to assess the impact of pretreatment with OCP by comparing such results to those of patients stimulated with mLA alone.
