Abstract
CLIMEX (Climate change experiment) is a proposed project which will experimentally enrich with CO2 and raise the temperature at two entire forested headwater ecosystems. CLIMEX will make use of two enclosures (1200 m2 and 650 m2) located at Risdalsheia, southernmost Norway. Eight years of background data are available from this site, collected as part of the RAIN project (Reversing Acidification In Norway). CLIMEX will use greenhouses to study the impact of the greenhouse effect.
