Abstract
Abstract This chapter explores the impact of climate change on the ecology and breeding behaviour of mosquito vectors and on the transmission of mosquito-borne diseases (MBDs) in urban areas of India. These MBDs include malaria, dengue, chikungunya, and lymphatic filariasis. The different climatic zones in India, and trends in temperature and relative humidity are described.
