She is adjunct senior research scientist at the Columbia University Earth Institute and adjunct professor of environmental science at Barnard College. Her research focuses on the potential impacts of environmental change, including increasing carbon dioxide, global warming, and Ei Niño, on regional, national, and global scales. She is lead author of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Working Group II Third Assessment Report. She can be contacted at crosenzweig@giss.nasa.gov.William D. SoleckiWilliam D. Solecki is associate professor of geography at Montclair State University. Solecki's research focuses on the human dimensions of global environmental change, land use and land cover change, and environmental risks and hazards. He is a panel member of the Committee on Population and Land Use of the U.S. National Research Council.
