Click To Bind: Microwave-Assisted Solid-Phase Synthesis of Peptoids Incorporating Pyridine–Triazole Ligands and Their Copper(II) Complexes

Abstract

We describe a fast and efficient incorporation of the ligands 2-(1<i>H</i>-1,2,3-triazol-4-yl)pyridine and 2-(1<i>H</i>-1,2,3-triazol-1-ylmethyl)-pyridine into N-substituted glycine peptoid oligomers by the azide–alkyne cycloaddition (click) reaction on a solid support under microwave irradiation. Peptoids bearing these ligands formed stable complexes with copper(II).
