Abstract
Healthcare organizations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), are looking for ways to improve the quality of services and to increase productivity. In the UAE stroke patients receive healthcare services from acute hospitals, dedicated stroke centers, rehabilitation and home care facilities. Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD) is a stroke referral center that operates as a 24/7 comprehensive neurovascular service providing thrombolysis and thrombectomy. Objectives: We aimed to map the journey of the stroke patients admitted to CCAD from the referring provider to post-acute care.
