Abstract

Abstract The US Clean Water Act (CWA) was intended to direct environmental attention/protection to surface waters in the United States and specifically to “restore and maintain the chemical, physical, and biological integrity of the Nation's waters.” This article briefly reviews the CWA and selected, associated, environmetric issues.
