Classification of Key Security Issues and Recommended Measures in Cloud Computing

Abstract

Cloud computing is one of the emerging technologies to enhance the facility or add potential with liveliness without spending on new infrastructure, training new human resources, or licensing latest software. It extends the existing capabilities of Information Technology. During the preceding few years, cloud computing has grown-up from being a capable business concept to one of the fastest rising sector of the IT industry, but large amount information on individuals and companies are placed on the cloud servers, concerns are beginning to raise about just how secure cloud environment it is. Despite of all the buildup surrounding the cloud, enterprise customers are still unwilling to deploy their production in the cloud. Cloud Security is one of the major issues which reduces the development of cloud computing and difficulties with data isolation and data security continues to outbreak the market. The initiation of an advanced model should not agree with the required functionalities and capabilities present in the existing model. A new model targeting at improving features of an offered model must not risk or notify other major features of the current model. The architecture of cloud poses such a weakness to the security of the available technologies when deployed in a cloud environment. Cloud service users need to be attentive in accepting the risks of data breaches in this new environment. In this paper to identify the major security issues and the corresponding alternative techniques handle those issues in cloud computing.
