Abstract

General principles are formulated for constructing cluster orbital-stoichiometric solid state models. Models were constructed for the bulk and surfaces of various crystals and these models were classified according to the type of localized boundary orbitals. The applicability range of this model was examined by analyzing the possibility of using localized orbitals of a given type in crystalline compounds of different classification.
