Abstract

Ancient glass is very susceptible to weathering due to the buried environment, and the internal elements of the weathered glass will exchange with the elements in the environment thus leading to changes in the composition ratio. In order to classify and identify glass objects, this paper analyzes the classification laws of high potassium glass and lead-barium glass based on the data of samples of known types; selects the appropriate chemical composition for each category and then divides it into subcategories, gives specific division methods to establish a classification model, and uses this model for the chemical composition of glass artifacts of unknown categories to identify the types to which they belong
