Abstract

Glass products were one of the important goods on the Silk Road. In this paper, a decision tree model is adopted to determine the law of classification of high potassium and lead-barium glass and to obtain the criteria for classification thus illustrating the law of classification. In order to subclassify the two categories of high potassium and lead-barium, k-means clustering is used for unsupervised classification. Once a classification model was established, the unknown classes of glass artifacts were then classified using this model.
